Nordea Savings & Asset Management is now looking for 10-15 top graduates to participate in the Nordea Savings & Asset Management Graduate Programme 2008-2010. Savings & Asset Management is looking for best-in-class graduates that have recently obtained their Masters degree (autumn 07 - spring 08) and who are committed to a long-term career in asset and investment management. Successful applicants will be mobile; prepared for travel and temporary relocation in the Nordic countries (at least in the early stages of your career) but, more than that, people who appreciate a working style that transcends the Nordic boundaries and cultures. About the programme The graduate programme starts September 1st, 2008. If admitted, you will participate in a focused and structured two-year development program where you will experience a full range of personal development activities, educational development with internal as well as external instructors from e.g. Insead and McKinsey and you will be encouraged to study for a CFA and will acquire exposure to global business operations. Furthermore, you will also benefit from the activities in Nordeas Trainee Programme. Placement in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Bergen or Helsinki Participants in the programme will be placed in a specific business area/team within Savings and Asset Management. There are three different function areas: •Quantitative positions •Junior Portfolio Manager and Analysts positions •General Asset Management Business related positions. Your position will primarily be determined by business needs and your interests and aptitude. Please state country of preference. Requirements • Academic degree with special emphasis on financial economics, statistics/mathematics or legal knowledge • Ambition and ability to work in an analytical-/specialist environment • Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing • Fluency in English (interviews will be held in English) • Ability to work independently • Top Grades (Among top ten in your class) • You are characterised by the following key words: - Strong interpersonal skills - Thrives in a changing environment - Drive - Team player Application and interview process If you demonstrate a strong drive to achieve and the focus and energy to succeed in a challenging environment you should apply before April 16, 2008.
