The position we offer
Group Treasury & ALM (TALM) is responsible for analysis, modelling and strategic management of the Group’s balance sheet risks and contributes to the optimization of funding, liquidity and capital while following and securing regulatory compliance.
TALM Exposures drives investment and hedging decisions of market risks on the Group’s balances sheet and delivers market strategy updates and other advisory services to executive management and relevant committees.
Our activities are focused mostly on money markets, fixed income and FX markets, but span across all asset classes.
You will be part of a team where the main responsibilities are liquidity management, management of risks related to Nordea’s balance sheet and issuance of Nordea Eiendomskreditt covered bonds.
Furthermore you will be involved in strategic project work related to the balance sheet and financial regulation.
The work will include analyzing financial market developments as support for market theme discussions, investments and follow-up on our activities.
The qualifications you need
We have high expectations on our graduates. We are looking for responsible talents with an aim to pursue and drive their own personal development within the framework provided by the Nordea Graduate Programme.
Requirements:
- A Master’s degree
- A maximum of two years’ post-academic work experience
- Excellent English language skills
Furthermore, you need to pass an ability test that assesses numerical, verbal and inductive capabilities.
In addition, we expect you to have personal ambition and to be a team player.
You are confident, driven and possess the mindset to constantly improve your competencies and skills.
