Graduate to Commercial Real Estate (Næringseiendom) in Nordea

The position we offer

We are looking for a brilliant graduate to join us in our department Næringseiendom in Commercial Banking.
As a graduate you will hold a specific position while being enrolled in the Nordea Graduate Programme at the same time.  
This means that while being part of the daily business, you will attend international seminars together with other graduates from different parts of the Nordea group. The graduate concept also consists of local business area tracks, mentoring process and value chain stays.  
The programme runs for approximately 1 year, aiming at giving you the best insight for our relationship strategy especially compared to corporate customers.
You will get the possibility to work in a specialised unit covering the commercial real estate segment («Næringseiendom”) in Norway, consisting of office buildings, hotels, shopping centres and logistic properties.
You will work on highly challenging assignments together with highly qualified team members.
The unit also cooperates closely with Nordea`s commercial real estate departments/ segment in the other Nordic countries.
Your daily work will, among other things, include:
  • Support our Senior Relationship Managers with their direct and indirect customer orientedactivities
  • Performing financial analyses of our clients and their financing proposals
  • Real estate market research
  • Prepare analysis and presentations for the management of the unit
  • Assist preparations of credit decision memos
You will get the prospect of building your own customer portfolio.
There are a lot of development opportunities within Nordea, as well as ability to build relations towards the real estate cluster in Norway.

The qualifications you need

We have high expectations on our graduates. We are looking for responsible talents with an aim to pursue and drive their own personal development within the framework provided by the Nordea Graduate Programme.
Requirements:
  • Analytical skills
  • A sound understanding of credit
  • A Master’s degree
  • A maximum of two years’ post-academic work experience
  • Excellent English language skills   
Furthermore, you need to pass an ability test that assesses numerical, verbal and inductive capabilities.
In addition, we expect you to have personal ambition and to be a team player.
You are confident, driven and possess the mindset to develop and constantly improve your competencies and skills.
