Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking Sustainability Interns

We are a 160-year-old start-up aiming to disrupt the global logistics industry with zero-emission shipping and logistics solutions. We are a market leader in shipping and vehicle logistics, and our job is to connect and expand sustainable world trade, with assets and services that take care of everything from purchasing materials to delivering sophisticated cargo like EVs, windmills and transformers to final customers. At sea, we operate over 130 vessels in 15 trade routes around the world, together with a global in-land distribution network of more than 66 processing centers and 8 terminals. Our global family consists of 12,000 people across 29 countries that are working on vessels and at ports, processing centers and offices.

We are looking for a collaborative intern who thrives in a diverse workplace and has strong analytical capabilities. You are self-driven, curious and solution-oriented. Most important, you are passionate about building a more sustainable future!

The internship will last for 8-10 weeks from June and will be based in Oslo.

What you will work on

• Develop competitor analysis of sustainability related topics.
• Develop presentations and support analysis of EU regulations.

• Support analysis of our global value chain and human rights
• Support implementation of new sustainability data reporting systems.

• Help improve our GHG emissions data reporting.

• Research green incentives for shipping and logistics.

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiar with corporate sustainability topics.
• Strong time management skills.

• Good communication skills in English.

• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
• Fast learner with regards to systems and tools.

Required experience & qualifications: 

• Master’s degree (ongoing or finished).
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Experience working on tasks independently and as part of a team.
