🚀 Join ProDecs as a Technical & Business Development Intern – Part-time, Start in October 2025

Are you a curious and ambitious student eager to work at the intersection of technology, software, and industrial economics? ProDecs, an NTNU spin-off, is launching a cutting-edge decision-support solution for project economic analysis in Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), Renewables, and Oil & Gas — and we want you on board. We’re looking for a student intern who thrives in a technical environment and is curious about how technology meets the market. Your main focus will be on front-end and back-end development, where you’ll help extend existing features and adapt the interface for new markets. You’ll also contribute to methodology and algorithms (Python) design and integration (API), with opportunities to take part in business development.

ProDecs is a spin-off from the NTNU BRU21 program, representing more than 10 industrial partners and 200 MNOK in research funding. Our mission is to revolutionize how companies analyze and manage project economics under uncertainty. Our SaaS solution, built on methods validated through years of research and industry collaboration, helps companies navigate uncertainty, identify optimal investment strategies, and unlock the value of flexibility. In case studies, ProDecs has helped uncover over 100 million USD of additional value in energy projects.

🌟 What you’ll do

Tech (main focus)

• Short-term:
  • Extend and adapt existing front-end components (Nuxt 3 / Vue.js) for new use cases and markets
  • Contribute to back-end development (.NET) by replicating and adjusting existing functionality for new cases and markets
• Long-term:
  • Support methodology development for optimization and real options analysis in energy projects (Python algorithms and API)

Business & market work (secondary focus)

• Explore and map new market opportunities across energy sectors
• Support strategic business development activities

🎯 We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience (or a strong interest) in front-end development (preferably Nuxt 3 / Vue.js) and back-end development (preferably .NET)
• Is curious about industrial economics, energy markets research, optimization, and real options analysis
• Can work independently and manage tasks in a dynamic startup environment
• Is proactive, structured, and confident in communicating ideas
• Bonus: Experience with Python algorithms, API development, cloud architectures (AWS), data analysis
